Isn’t it Crazy what a new control bar costs?
Back in the days, you bought a kite.. it came with a pump and a bar.. no big deal. The bar was about 200 Bucks, maybe 250… With every new kite, you probably bought a new bar..
These days, its different… You buy a new kite and then you get hit with the news of the price for a new bar.. 450 to 750 Dollars, depending on the make and model… After some sessions you feel that the foam of your bar starts to peel of. Around the area of the depower pass through there is hardly any foam left. It feels uncomfortable to hold the bar. Yes sometimes its even distracting.

You tried fixing the foam with tape, with grip-tape for bicycle steering bars, with all kinds of material… Until you decided, that its time for a new bar. The problem with it is that in these days bars are really expensive. They run between $450 and $750 depending on the brand.
So we did a lot of research and tried to find a supplier for the foam that is used for the grips. Also, we tried a couple of different glues used to get a good bond on the aluminum or carbon bars.
What we came up with is a perfect new grip in a custom color, bonded waterproof to the bar and it really turns the old ugly bar into a very cool new bar… The feeling is great.
No distraction by loose foam, or hanging down parts of the grip tape.
Add new lines, maybe even q-power pro lines, and spliced connection ropes, and everybody thinks you got a brand new bar…
But it’s for the fraction of the price
