Donate – and pay what you want for your next repair!
I am looking for old kites, old bars and other gear for a good cause. Usually we are all too lazy to get rid of old gear. It piles up in the garage, in the attic, or somewhere.. As soon as we buy new gear, we tend not to use the “old” gear anymore. and after some time this gear is not good anymore. PU deteriorates, pinholes, little rips, even critter damage makes them unusable… But for other people on a budget this may be a good starting point to get into the sport.
My goal is to revive old gear and either give it to a good cause, or resell it cheap to people who want to start kitesurfing, but are on a budget. Sales of theis particular gear is usually through ebay andI donate a portion for a good cause.
Because of the huge response from the kitesurfing community, and the big amount of gear being donated so far, I am thinking of even setting up a permanent non-profit organization for charity.
Hit me up with recommendations for good causes you want me to donate to. Name existing non-profits with potential to partner up with. Point me towards great-potential kids I can sponsor with gear with your help, so they can grow into the next generation kite masters… Let’s give back to the community..

I don’t know how you feel about it, but i threw away one kite in my life. It was a 16m BFK (yes, it translates to Big Fucking Kite) from Best and i still feel bad about it.. 🙂 So don’t throw anything away..
