Carbon Fibre Works
We all more or less using Carbon fibre gear in our sport. Carbon fibre Twin tip boards, foil boards, control bars, fins, wings, fuselages and more…
And although this material is amazingly strong, there is some damage to it over the time. Front wings get abrasive damage when sliding into sand bars, Carbon bars may break, the surface of a board may be scratches from Sand. In some cases the production of carbon fibre boards is not very good. inserts come loose, Footstarps are torn out of the boards, Fin boxes get cracks and let water in the core.. you name it…
Throughout the years i have worked on a lot of Carbon fibre projects and repairs. Its a special material, which needs special skills and tools. I use different procedures of production. From simple silicon molds, to multi production molds from polyester and gel coat molds to vacuum bagging raisin infusion procedures..
Keep in mind, that i can probably help you bring an idea of yours to life by shaping and prototyping, creating a mold and giving it a first prototype production..
I am familiar working with:
Epoxy
- Polyester
- 2 Component polyurethane Foam
- Producing molds, soft and rigid
- Making Prototypes
- 3D-printed molds
- Different 3elease techniques
- Vaccum carbon fibre techniques
- Vacum raisin infusion
